Will Symmetry set my gemstone in one of their designs or in a custom-made mounting?
Yes, but keep in mind that since you are supplying these gemstones, they will be set at your own risk.
However, one of our specialties is creating custom settings around the gemstone of your choice and the upmost care is taken by our professional jewelers to protect your gem from damage.
The cost of the mountings are affected by several factors, including the type of metal used, how complicated the design is to manufacture, and whether or not the ring is embellished with hand engraving. Since the center gemstone is not included in the cost of the mounting, the price of the ring can vary greatly on the type of gemstone and quality you select.
In general, our white and yellow gold settings start at about $200.00 and go up from there. Platinum usually starts at about $600.00.
On average, the more popular settings are about $1,800.00-2,000.00 in white and yellow gold and $2500.00-2800.00 in platinum.

We guarantee everyone's happiness. If it is a jewelry piece that our artists design for you, you will never be obligated to purchase it. So if your new piece is not what you were imagining and you are not happy with it, we will be glad to try again and put the first one for sale in our showcase. There would be an additional charge only if the new jewelry item goes over the cost of the first.
Our designer Tom Mathis uses a cad computer program to create most new mountings and you will be able to see a full color 3D rendering of the design before it actually exists. If it is a design that is not generated in the cad program you will receive a sketch of the piece for your approval.
Yes, most of the time. If it is determined that your design is mechanically feasible, then we will be glad to use it to create a one of a kind piece of jewelry. The only thing that you should keep in mind is that since it is your own design, you will be required to place a 3o% deposit before we will begin manufacture and you will be obligated to purchase the finished product if it is a faithful representation of the design that you submitted.
